Stack
Stack
Each disc — each building block — in this table has a hole in the center, and a hole off to the side. The user chooses how to assemble the table. It’s never the same twice.
Stack explores user experience and interaction with the object. It asks the user to actively engage; to decide how the table will look and how to put it together. The user becomes the maker, and their hand is evident in every assembled iteration.
The table is never the same twice. Every time a user assembles the table, each decision creates novel form.
The weight of the discs keeps the table stable.
