Chisel Creative is a design/build company and community makers' studio that offers custom fine furniture and unique design solutions, sprinter van builds, and progressive learning opportunities and apprenticeship programs in furniture design.

Portfolio

Custom-designed and hand-built original, creative furniture, art, and interior spaces.

Collection: Designed Interior Space

The environments in Designed Interior Space illustrate how Chisel Creative integrates Design Theory, Interior Architecture, Creative Placemaking, and Furniture Design to design and build innovative, beautiful, and functional interiors.

Collection: Creative Systems + Constraints

The pieces in Creative Systems + Constraints are custom designed to meet unique material, aesthetic, and functional needs. Every design parameter is a challenging creative constraint that drives our problem-solving abilities and fuels our creative thinking.

Collection: Geometry + Line

Chisel Creative is inspired by the relationship between an object and the space it occupies. Geometry + Line is a collection of furniture that explores geometry, angularity, and the relationship between positive and negative space.

Collection: Interact

Interact is a collection of furniture that enhances the user’s relationship to the creative object through interactivity, mutability, and touch.

Collection: That Which is Taught

That Which is Taught is a teaching portfolio that includes work from Chisel Creative Founder Rachel’s 20 years of teaching. Rachel and the Chisel team are dedicated to innovative, interdisciplinary mentor-style education in art, craft, and design.
