Brown University Ceramics Studio

There was no ceramics program at Brown University, so I made one. In the back studio space of the basement of Brown University’s art building, I gathered a group of students and faculty, and designed and built a fully functioning ceramics studio

We tore down drywall, built furniture, and painted murals. We made the space our own: a thriving place to learn and create with clay

As an all-woman group, we focused much of our imagery on the feminine, and feminine power.
